Taped live from the legendary Studio 6B at Rockefeller Center in New York City, NBC's newest late night hit, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, airs Monday through Friday after The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.
With the talents of comedian Jimmy Fallon, a former Saturday Night Live cast member best known for his fun and quirky news reports on Weekend Update, as host and music by house-band The Roots, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon entertains viewers nightly with funny monologues, off-beat sketches, interviews with the hottest celebrities and music by some of today's biggest bands.
First airing on March 2, 2009, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon was met with skepticism its first week, but it wasn't long before fans across the country made it the number one talk show in its time slot. With recurring segments such as "Slow Jam the News" (in which Fallon talks about current events in a seductive manner to the sultry music of The Roots) and "7th Floor West" (a hilarious parody of MTV's The Hills in which Fallon's foray into late night is "documented" and viewers are made privy to the behind-the-scenes challenges the host faces each night ), Late Night with Jimmy Fallon has made a name for itself in late night TV.
Executive produced by Lorne Michaels, the Emmy-award winning creator of Saturday Night Live, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon doesn't disappoint as it airs each night with fresh, new material and interesting guests that leave viewers coming back for more.
