Monk features the amazing and quirky police talents of detective Adrian Monk, an eccentric individual with a nose for solving crimes. After the murder of his wife, Monk suffered a breakdown making him extremely obsessive compulsive and caused him to lose his regular position on the force. This doesn't stop him in his quest to keep the world spotless and stop crime, as he and his assistant/nurse work on a consultant basis with the department on hard to solve crimes. As he works, Monk shows off his Zen ability to see minute details in places others miss, and keeps the viewer rolling as his OCD … Morenature often gets in The Way of his work.
