Someone's Gotta Do It: Jammin'
 Source: ClipSyndicate
When you hear the term Toe Jam, you don't immediately think of something delicious. But that just might change after you see this story. Clayton Clark takes us to Rugby where a family from California started their own business called California Kids Farms, where they make the best Toe Jam in the land. And they let Clayton in the kitchen for this week's Someone's Gotta Do it... (Clayton Clark, KX News) When you think of Rugby North Dakota, you think of the geographical center of North America, but it may have another landmark and it's hear at the Cornerstone Cafe and it's Toe Jam. (Rhonda Bachman-Williams) How it started is my oldest daughter when she was about five or six and we had in California a lot of wild berries around the house. She decided we would start picking berries and making jams and it kind of evolved into a little bit bigger than we anticipated and my next oldest daughter we were talking and she said something about Toe Jam and everyone thought it was disgusting and it will never work and people will get grossed out and it is by far the best seller of any jam we see. (Simon) You cut in straight lines and then you cut it in half. That's good. (Clayton Clark, KX News) This new jam the kids have created consists of eight different fruits and it also has only half the sugar of store bought jam. Oh and by the way. It smell delicious. (Hunter) Put the Pectin in, it makes it thick. (Simon) The sugar is ready to be added. It's four cups. (Hunter) Now you want to put the jam on the table. Now you need to take the jars over to the table and it's going to be hot so you can use these. (Levi) Now what we have to do is pull all these jars and let all of the water out of it. (Clayton Clark, KX News) The water looks pretty hot, I'm thinking the goal is not to burn yourself. (Rhonda) Right where the funnel starts is the fill line. So right about to there. (Clayton Clark, KX News) I feel like I'm holding up the assembly line. (Hunter) That's o.k. (Simon) Is that the last lid? (Clayton Clark, KX NEws) We just finished the first ever batch of TOEtally tropical Toe Jam and I helped make it. Who wants to take the first bite? (Kids) You should try it first.
