Taken on June 23, 2007, on the Maine Eastern Railroad between Rockland and Brunswick, ME. The train for the day is the "Mystic Valley Special," and consists of the Maine Eastern's wonderfully restored streamlined passenger cars and FL9 diesel locomotives. The fan trip was chartered by the Mystic Valley Railway Society. I apologize for the poor filming quality, as this is literally the first film I've ever taken. In any case, the first scenes show the train at the Rockland station, while following pictures show some of the coastal scenery as well as the shipyards at Bath. And of course, there're a couple of runbys in there, as well. All told, a very memorable trip aboard a first-class railroad.
