What are you giving your mother this Mother's Day? Will you give her flowers, candy... how about diamonds? Some of the fourth graders at Bell School were able to give their moms diamonds today. Their teacher had them write an essay on why their mom deserves a diamond pennant. Knowles Jerwlelry owners Alan and Linda Torrington judged the essays and selected three top winners who received special gifts. The Torringtons agreed it was as tough competition to judge. But after carefully reading them over, they decided the top essay was submitted by Bethany Ploof... (Bethany Ploof, 4th Grader.-My mom deserves a diamond pennant because she likes jewelry. She looks good in it. She loves her four kids sooooo much. She makes delicious cakes and such. She throws awesome parties. She washes clothes if they're in the laundry room. Bethany's mom, Natalie was on hand to receive her special gift.
