Mother Nature's presence was felt at a number of activities, but in the process, she has helped both the Dickinson State baseball and softball teams. The DAC tournaments in Jamestown as well as in Madison, South Dakota have both been cancelled. As a result, both Blue Hawk teams have been declared the champions. The baseball team gets the nod based on their number one seed in the tournament while the softball team won the DAC regular season title. Since DSU, Jamestown College and Dakota State were the top three seeds in the baseball tournament, they'll each advance to the NAIA Region III Tournament on May 9th in Sioux City, Iowa. The Blue Hawk softball team will host the NAIA Region III Tournament on May 9th.
