Hello, I'm Rebecca Field with today's UPI entertainment update on this Wednesday, February 27, 2008."O.C." star Mischa Barton has been charged for driving under the influence and possession of marijuana. Police say the charges stem from her arrest last December...the actress was pulled over for driving in two lanes and not using her turn signal. Her arraignment hearing is set for tomorrow. An Australian judge is ruling against a photographer for hounding actress Nicole Kidman. The photographer originally took an Australian publication to court...claiming they unfairly accused him of hounding the actress. He said the article defamed him. But Kidman testified in November saying the photographer frightened her at times. The judge is now ordering the man to pay legal fees for the trial.Janet Jackson has still got it. The singer has released her tenth studio album called "Discipline." She was at Best Buy to promote the new release yesterday. The last album Jackson put out was about two years ago. The CD is apparently very futuristic and the singer has described her new stuff as "classic me, with a modern twist."Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood reunited on stage last night at New York's Madison Square Garden. It was reminiscent of their 1960's days as the band Blind Faith. The pair brought back some of their classics like "Presence of the Lord" and "Can't Find My Way Home." Both artists performed some from their solo careers as well...Clapton sang "After Midnight" and Winwood performed hits like "Pearly Queen." Oscar producers are apologizing to Whoopi Goldberg for leaving her out of a video montage. The "View" host spoke out about not being included in a series of video clips showing Oscar hosts...played at Sunday's award show. Goldberg has hosted 4 times. The event's producer tells People magazine it was "an absolute oversight" and he feels bad she was left out. That's all for now. For more on those stories and all of today's news go to upi.com. Thanks for watching.
