Zenit St Petersburg will chase their first European silverware when the free-scoring Russian champions take on Rangers in the UEFA Cup final at the City of Manchester stadium on Wednesday (May 14). Zenit won their place there with an impressive series of victories over Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and Olympique Marseille. "I know they are building up in Scotland from last week till now and everybody is trying to push Zenit in a favourite role, no problem I like that, but with all respect what Rangers did in the past against the team they beat - you cannot come into the final of the UEFA Cup, you cannot come into the final of the League Cup, you cannot come into the final of the FA Cup and also probably and hopefully they become champion - they must have a very balanced team who can play football.
