Bergdorf Goodman, this unique and extravagant department dates back to 1899 when tailors Edwin Goodman and Herman Bergdorf united in partnership forming a tailoring establishment. Their early clientele included the Vanderbilt's and Astor's. Over the years Bergdorf Goodman has also dressed Jackie Kennedy and stars from the American stage.
