Duncan Scholes, organizer of the famous Bladerun Ralley, visited Flanders Offshore Racing(FOR)during the last Powerboat P1 race of the 2007 in Portimao, Portugal. Gino Passchier throttleman of Flanders Offshore Racing showed him the new Osprey Condor Rib. Gino Passchier and Kris Deraedt from FOR won the Bladerun 2007 from London to Ostende in spectacular conditions of windforce 9 on the channel - Flanders Offshore Racing were in fact the only team to cross the channel by boat - all the others simply took the train, as pilots would face a serious storm on the channel... - therefore somebody called the FOR-team the real "bladerunners" - instead of all the other "trainrunners"Listen what organizer Duncan Scholes says about the last event at the Baleares/Ibiza - and the comment about going by ferry (or as earlier by train !) from Gino Passchier
