The popular and colorful Mickey Redmond has been the analyst on FSN Detroit's coverage of the Detroit Red Wings since the network's inception in 1997, and the 2007-08 season marks 22 years overall in the team's television booth. Known for his keen analytical eye for the game, Redmond's broadcast resume also includes having worked national telecasts for FOX Sports, ABC, ESPN, ESPN International and CBC Hockey Night in Canada. Redmond played nine NHL seasons including five in Detroit, a stint that included two 50-goal seasons. He scored 52 goals and was a NHL First Team All-Star in 1972-73, following that up with 51 goals and a NHL Second Team selection in 1973-74.
