Liberty Association leaders arrested
When we came in the Elders Liberty Association at 10 AM today, about 10 elders are tried because they passed last night there without dream. Ariunaa, judge of the Chingeltei district, ordered to arrest Mrs.Baasan, leader of Elders Liberty Association. Then yesterday she was arrested. After she was arrested, some elders felt very anxiety and psychologically depressed. They think that arresting Mrs.Baasan was illegal action without any basis. For last months, disputes between the Elders Liberty Association and Zam Invest Construction Company are controversy and still continued. The Zam Invest construction company has been trying to take the land possessed by the Elders Liberty Association. But elders have been struggling against its robbery interest. Khuyag, legal advisor of the Zam Invest Company had beaten the elders when they protected their leader Baasan. He pushed one elder then his head was heavily injured. Elders typed this video themselves, to reveal their robbery action. Yesterday in order to protect their land possession right, little battle between elders and policemen was taken. Mrs.Tuul, secretary, said "Arresting Mrs.Baasan was illegal and organized action to discourage us. We continue our fight until Baasan will be released. We think that some big powers are behind the Zam Invest Company. The Zam Invest Company doesn’t comply with final decision by the Representative's Meeting of the capital city." Husband of leader of the Elders Liberty Association, said that arresting his wife put his family into deep psychological pressure. Batdorj, husband, said "Not only me, also my children are very depressed after their mother was arrested." They think that their land possession right is frightened with the Zam Invest Company.
