The official end of Disc 4 and the final battle. **NOTE - This is version 1** Squall, Quistis and Rinoa against Griever in whats's left of her Throne Room. Once again, I'm playing around with my save files. I haven't played in years, so I forgot how strong my party is (hence the 'overkill' in the title). Continuing in the final battle. Video starts with Griever being summoned and destroying the entire castle in the process (smart move there...). Start the fight with Meltdown. Griever can blow away your magic, meaning that you lose it for the rest of the fight (like Rinoa's Slow). Realy bad if it was junctioned to an important stat. Then I cast Aura on everyone (I have another version without Aura). I used Quistis's Mighty Guard to get Shell and Protect. When the sky gets darker, Griever is ready to use his best attack: Shockwave Pulsar. It won't break the 9999 barrier and you can use Shell to soften the blow. The battle music changes when he casts it, but right afterwards he dies, so you don't listen to it. There are theories that Griever is really Squall, but how? I know his ring is the same name, but what? The video ends with Griever exploding into feathers and turning into a ball? End of Battle 2. Nice death. Ultimecia Junctioned Form up next.
