Two men are formally charged with murder in the death of Alden Fast Horse. The murder charges were announced at a press conference at 11am this morning in Bismarck. 30-year-old Aldan Fast Horse was stabbed to death at his Ramkota hotel room June 5th. Police arrested four people in connection with the crimebut today filed murder charges against 19-year-old Sheldon McHugh and 21-year-old Leland Bad Brave. (Richard Riha/ Burleigh County States Attorney) The information that we have we believe what happened was there was initially a burglary committed in the room of Mr. Fast Horse at the Ramkota. And then the defendents Mr. McHugh and Mr. Bad Brave came later and were conspiring to commit a robbery and that is when the murder occured. McHugh also faces charges of burglary and conspiracy to commit robbery. Also arrested and charged with other crimes are James Wisbey and Elena Vassar. Both McHugh and Bad Brave will make initial appearances in Burleigh County Court later this afternoon on the murder charges in front of Judge Thomas Schneider.
