Pope Benedict urges world leaders to save the planet before it is too late. Intentionally dressed in green, the colour of the environmental movement, Pope Benedict addressed millions of young people on a hillside near the Adriatic city of Loreto on the day that Italy's Catholic Church marks its annual "Save Creation Day." Making one of his strongest environmental appeals to date, the Pope said that courageous choices that can re-create a strong alliance between man and earth must be made before it is too late.
