The students of our Commonwealth have organized candlelight vigils to show their solidarity with the Virginia Tech community. Students at Virginia's colleges and universities will hold simultaneous candlelight vigils on campuses across the Commonwealth this Thursday night. Assisted by Virginia21, the Commonwealth's advocate for young people, and its grassroots chapters at Virginia's public colleges and universities, the vigil will provide a space for students to show their support for the Virginia Tech community in the aftermath of the tragic shootings that occurred in Blacksburg on Monday.
