Authorities say this 30-yr-old man was stabbed to death in a Bismarck hotel... Bismarck Police continue to investigate the cities first homicide this year. 30-yr-old Alden Fasthorse of Cannonball was found murdered yesterday at the Ramkota Inn. Fasthorse checked into the hotel Monday and as Donnell Preskey reports authorities are trying to figure out what happened after that... 30 year old Alden Fasthorse was supposed to catch a ride from his hotel Thursday morning but he never showed up outside... That's when an employee went to Fasthorse's room and found him dead. Bismarck Police say Alden Fasthorse was stabbed to death... (Keith Witt / Bismarck Police Chief) At this point we don't know what the motive was... Police also don't know who did it... They have made no arrests in connection to Fasthorse's death... However they do want to talk to Sheldon Lee McHugh a 19 year old Bismarck man. (Keith Witt / Bismarck Police Chief) information discovered by talking to other people has lead us to believe he has information that would assist us in the investigation that's why we're trying to find him and speak with him. Police won't elaborate on what information they think McHugh has for them. In fact they're pretty tight lipped about any details. Chief Witt says they questioned two men after putting out these pictures last night one was released and 22 year old James Wisbey was arrested for Burglary. Authorities say Wisbey broke into Fasthorses' residence and stole some property. What that property is, when it happened and how it's linked to the murder is not being shared... (Witt) we're doing what we can we're investigating all the leads but we have to be very cautious and guarded with what we can release so we can do justice to the victim and make sure have a sound case, not jeopardize that by infomation we release. While no arrests have been made Chief Witt is confident no one else is at risk... (Witt) At this point we're trying to interview people to find out what happened. There's nothing at this point that leads us to believe that there's someone out there to pose a risk to the public of doing this again. In Bismarck, Donnell Preskey, KX News.
