This is New American abstract music--also known as "21th Century Music"--by composer Evan Chambers and performed by Heather Figi for me as trial audience as part of her preparation for the public execution of the short piece (4 min 44 sec)on Sunday May 18, 2008 at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. There is an accompanying taped partition that is supposed to be played simultaneously with the violin part, as stated in the full title of the piece "Rothko-Tobey Continuum: violin and tape." --- Voici une illustration de la nouvelle musique abstraite américaine contemporaine—aussi appelée « musique du 21ème siècle », écrite par le compositeur Evan Chambers, sur une interprétation de Heather Figi jouée pour moi en tant que public d'essai en préparation de l'exécution publique de la courte pièce (4 min 44 sec) le dimanche 18 mai 2008 à la National Gallery of Art, à Washington, DC.
