It's time for tonight's Student Spotlight, where we honor top graduates from the region. This time, we're in Surrey where Briana Schwan is valedictorian. (Briana Schwan, Surrey Senior) I've gone to Surrey since I was in fourth grade. I've had a lot of fun here. It's fun to be in a small school because you get to do a lot of activities that you might not get to do in a larger school. I've been in a lot of music things: band and choir, jazz band. I've done drama, yearbook, robotics, tried a lot of things. I've really enjoyed math classes, this year I have pre-calc with Mrs. McDermott and that's a lot of fun. I like physics too because we get to do a lot of hands-on stuff. I plan to go to Minot State University next year and I'm going to major in art with a concentration in graphic design and probably minor in music. I'd like to get into graphic design and web design. Congratulations to these honor graduates at Surrey. Commencement ceremonies for all 28 seniors at Surrey will be May 20th.
