"No justice, no peace!" changes to "Bring the war home!" as we march east on Maryland Avenue SW. Three anarcha-feminist flags are flying, as well as one anarcho-syndicalist flag. J27 was an anti-war protest held in Washington DC on January 27, 2007. The main demonstration was sponsored by United For Peace and Justice (UFPJ), and marched in the area around the National Mall and the Capitol Building. Meanwhile, Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), forming a black bloc, held their own separate but related feeder march, from Dupont Circle to the Capitol, around and through the mainstream march, and finally out to a military recruitment center at 14th and L Streets NW.
