Advocates for Children's 6th annual Duck Derby will take place on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at the Riverside Day Use Area, in Cartersville, Georgia. Everyone will have an opportunity to adopt a duck, or ducks, to participate in the race down the Etowah River. Adoptive parents of ducks have the opportunity to win awesome prizes donated from businesses in and around Bartow County. The event is fun for the entire family and includes a day full of festivities, such as games, vendors, food, the 3rd annual Duck Dash 5k run, live entertainment, and the launching of over 20,000 rubber ducks down the Etowah River!
