This is just one of at least 30-40 bats we seen while on our vacation the Maldives. Do not be scared even though they are much bigger then the infamous vampire bats. They only eat fruit and flowers. This island is called Bandos island. Very nice island and a great trip location if you are planning to soak up the sun. its hard to get a great shot of these bats because they are so fast. So we were lucky to get a shot of them just outside of thier designated tree.
