Bobby Diablo the player/coach joins TEAM KASR at the start of the 2nd quarter for the third and tie breaking basketball championship between ASU's Media Titans: The college daily rag aka THE STATE PRESS and ASU's radio station: KASR! Backstory: In the spring of 94 T-Roc the Prophet while rummaging through a locker at the radio station looking for some used methadone, found an old trophy! On it showed that KASR and the State Press played 2 games in 1983 and 1984. Both sides won one game each. Naturally, this meant B-Ball war and the radio station staff thru down the gauntlet and the State Press staff picked up the challenge! WHO will win? And more importantly in this andrenline fueled journalistic endeavour, the eternal reporter question: WHO will buy the beers? "Don't expect a lot from this show." Was the unofficial motto of KASR VIDEO, which made a pleasant surprise when we actually knocked out a great show! The program was a weekly 2 hour public access offshoot of the Arizona State University's original alternative radio station that aired in Phoenix. The music video show featured rarely seen videos and "new" music not in the "main stream." Along with non-conventional interviews it became a decent way to nurse a hangover with the midnight party crowd. These clips are edited as a sort of best of; minus the music videos.
