Now this, folks, is the coolest glitch in the game, and it's a big one! Ever notice how the NES version of The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle has 60 levels, while the Game Boy version has 80 levels? That means the Game Boy version has 20 additional passwords, too. But did you know those passwords for the Game Boy-only levels also work on the NES? They do! But they're weird. The passwords for stages 61 through 64 lead to S3, S1, S4, and S1 respectively. But the passwords for stages 65 through 80 lead to glitch levels! They're not all exciting--some are even just blank screens--but here are some of the more intersting ones. Stage "67"--or Stage SS--is the only of these glitch levels that makes the stone level music. It's also the only one where you can actually die in! As well as kick an unknown object, for that matter. Who the heck knows what killed me here, 'cause you sure can't see it! Maybe a no-carrot sign was original intended for Stage 25, since when you die, you get sent back to Stage 22 here. Stage "68"--or Stage ST--actually starts with an impressive five enemies on the screen, including the return of brown Daffy Duck! You'll only see it for about a second before you immediately exit, though--it happens when Bugs starts at horizontal position zero, as he does here. Even if you don't actually see him here. You'll get sent to Stage something-3 which is an unplayable golden version of Stage 35! At least the stage doesn't look too glitchy, even if you can't actually play it. Stage 72 immediately bounces the player out of the level to Stage 74, which is probably the most fun of the glitch levels. It's the only one where you can actually see and control Bugs! As well as indirectly controlling the pink Sylvester, also in the level. You eventually get to a point where Bugs gets trapped, but it's still fun, since you're actually in the level, for a change. Also, there's a weird, cool floor that makes Bugs walk slow and jittery near the bottom! Stage 77 has a pink Sylvester. He's fun to play with. Even though Bugs is nowhere to be seen, pink Sylvester is as easily controlled as ever, just by pressing left and right on the controller. Stage 78 has a grey Sylvester and miscolored Yosemite Sam, though Yosemite only shows up for a split second in the video here--sometimes he'll join up with Sylvester, though. If you've ever wondered why Yosemite Sam occasionally appears oddly colored, it's because Wile E. Coyote is also in the level. They both share the same pallette, and Wile E. Coyote in Yosemite Sam's colors would look REALLY bizarre, so the game makers decided to just have Yosemite Sam in Wile E.'s colors. Anyway, even though we know he's SOMEWHERE around, you'll never see Wile E. Coyote here. Guess he's off the screen somewhere. Stage 79 isn't too interesting--just has the miscolored Yosemite Sam again--but notice that, for some reason, he can't seem to get back to his starting position, despite there being seemingly no reason he can't get back to that spot. Odd. Stage 80 has a grey Sylvester and, oddly, it sounds like Bugs gets a carrot immediately upon starting the level. Kinda' like the pink Sylvester in Stage 77, you can control Sylvester here the same way, though he'll start getting confused if you run him into a "wall."
