READ OR ELSE YOU WILL BE CONFUSED WHILE WATCHING THE VIDEO. I saw Yuna800's Cloud x Aerith vid to this song and absolutely fell in love with it. I highly recommend you watch it if you haven't seen it. Anyway, I decided that I just had to make a LotR vid to it. Since I love Aragorn and Arwen, I used them. xD I think this is my favorite vid that I've made. I spent a ridiculously long amount of time working on this, but I think it was worth it. Hope you enjoy! ☆ A Morning Star Production ☆ Song: "Carnival of Rust" by Poets of the Fall Clips: The Lord of the Rings Ship: Aragorn x Arwen Story: Sorry, this one is rather long. Anyway, Arwen and Aragorn thought that they were happily in love. As the problems on Middle-earth progressed and war seemed inevitable, Aragorn and Arwen started having their own issues. Aragorn did not want Arwen to get hurt or possibly killed during the war, but he knew that she would never leave willingly. In order to save Arwen's life, Aragorn lies to her and tells her that he can no longer be with her and does not care for her anymore. Though his hear t is grieving, Aragorn then prepares to fight in the War of the Ring. Arwen, hurt and betrayed by Aragorn, rides with the other elves toward the Grey Havens. As she and the elves travel, Arwen sees a vision of what her life could be like with Aragorn and mourns her seemingly impossible future. Aragorn, meanwhile, is fighting in the War of the Ring. Though he tries, he cannot stop thinking about Arwen and their parting. He realizes how much he needs her and goes to search for her. As Aragorn continues to search for Arwen, he is haunted by memories of Arwen and all their struggles, making him more and more desperate to find his love. Arwen, unaware of Aragorn's change of heart, continues on her journey while grieving inside. After a while, Aragorn is forced to return to the battle and then become king of Rohan. Once Arwen gets closer to the Grey Havens, she realizes that Aragorn only told her those things to save her. Aragorn still loves her, just wants her to be safe. With this newfound conviction, Arwen races back to find Aragorn and tell him that she still loves him and wants to be with him. And yay! Happy ending! So the black and white scenes are events that have happened in the past. The few color scenes are the present. Aragorn is the narrator, obviously. When he says "you" he's referring to Arwen. Hope this is not too confusing. The storyline follows the lyrics for the most part. Program Used: Sony Vegas 8 Disclaimer: I do not own the clips nor the music. The Lord of the Rings belongs to New Line Cinemas and Peter Jackson while the song belongs to its respective artists.
