That was below the 80 million dollar number industry analyst had been hoping for. The opening was nowhere near as disastrous as that for "Speed Racer" last weekend. The 160 million dollar kids flick crashed to a dismal 18.6 million during its first three days. The good news is the surprise smash hit "Iron Man," starring Robert Downey Jr., which has earned 222 million dollars so far. A big weekend also for Neil Diamond. The singer claims his highest ever debut and first ever Number One studio album on the UK Albums Chart with "Home Before Dark." His achievement comes 42 years after the release of his debut album "The Feel Of Neil Diamond."
