220 years ago today our forefathers signed a document outlining our freedoms. Today is a day to celebrate that accomplishment it's Constitution Day. Thirty-six people originally signed the Constitution in Independence Hall in Pennsylvania. Students at Bismarck State College celebrated the day by signing their names to their own Constitution. Cory Wardner says it's important for Americans to live by the work of our forefathers... (Cory Wardner, Constitution Day) The founders of our country left it vague enough and open to some interpretation that we can still use our modern values we can still hold to something that they saw for our country. Tonight, Clay Jenkinson will be talking at seven-thirty at the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium on the Bismarck State College Campus. He will be portraying Thomas Jefferson and presenting his take on the historic day.
