[2008.III.24] Golden State Warriors - Los Angeles Lakers: 123 - 119 (in Overtime) After the Lakers had lost the home game one day before this one against the Warriors, they went there with hunger to beat their rivals in a road game. Great game by them, beating a very strong offensive team without Gasol, Bynum, Mihm and Ariza. With this small team their tactics changed a lot, they rarely played at the post, they prefer to shoot from outside. I feel that the key for the victory was in the rebounding and the FG percentage. With 3 centers missing, the Lakers were able to grab 53 rebounds and shoot with 45.1% from the field. I have to favour Odom, who's been playing his hard out during these unfortunate times for the Lakers. He had 23 points (66.6% FG), 21 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 blocks! He really gave 100% of him when he was on the floor (during the whole match). Kobe Bryant's performance is very changeable nowadays, but his will to revenge inspired him to play better. That's what the Lakers need, a Kobe, who is playing well and scoring over 30 points in these kind of close games.
