Anti-Albanian statement reactions
Opposition reacts for the Anti-Albanian statements of Himara’s mayor Vasil Bollano, and are asking that prosecutor’s office start an investigation. Arta Dade and Neritan Ceka asked from Prime Minister Berisha and Union for Human Rights party to take a stand against Bollano’s actions. Arjan Starova reminds Bollano that with his statement and Anti-Albanian mind-set has violated Albanian Constitution and laws, and can be reprimanded for this. Chairman of Foreign Affairs parliamentary commission, Prec Zogaj, asks that the government be more careful with Himara, and invest in it, so that it doesn’t create a vacuum that certain anti-Albanian groups are more that willing to fill up. It was Spartak Ngjela that on Monday, in a parliamentary session, asked from General Prosecutor’s office to start an investigation on Bollano. A few days ago Vasil Bollano, in an incident between police and two young men from Himara, asked for Himara’s independence and part ways with Albania. While opposition has made it known where it stands in regard to this incident, the government has yet to pronounce. Tirana-Albania Vizion Plus
