I got the Blues when it Rains – Magnolia Jazz Band 1989 This band is from Oslo in Norway here at the San Diego Jazz Festival in California in 1989. Their leader is trombonist Gunner Gotaas, with on trumpet Anders Bjornstad, Per Hobbel on bass, Bonsak Schieldrop drums, More Gunnar Larssen piano and Johnny Harper banjo. Their clarinetist was not be able to make it on their trip to the USA and therefore they had a very adequate replacement by Frenchman Jacques Gauthe,who lived and performed regularily in New Orleans. Jacques is no longer with us. He past away in June 2007. The band plays very well in the revival New Orleans style.
