The Iman Aga Khan spoke on the importance of education to civil society, tolerance, and global citizenship. He was marking his Golden Jubilee as the spiritual leader of the Shia Ismaili Muslim community. This event, the annual International Baccalaureate Peterson Lecture, was held at North Atlanta High School, the oldest International Baccalaureate school in the U.S., to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the program.
