The fourth clue that Ben found clearly indicated a chest buried in a “grotte’ or ‘cave’ that could be seen from the Tour Magdala, containing "the cup of Jesus and Mary Magdalene” & “the parchments of Abbe Bigou” & “the anointing jar”. Here Ben, Bill Kersey and Bruce hike to a cave above the Couleurs river, in which they find a old wooden chest buried quite deep in the ground. Both the chest and its contents were damp, partly rotten, full of small bugs and look to have been 'in the elements' for some time.
