Measure 49, this person speaks out about how Measure 37 is taking away vital land from Oregon. Right now it allows wealthy property owners to benefit from the profits - at the expense of their surrounding neighbors, and for the citizens of Oregon. Measure 49 will fix much of the flaws found in Measure 37 and correct this greed of development. Measure 49 will correct M37 in a way that will make the measure more of what voters thought they were granting, special rights for farm and forest land owners to build a home or two for their family. Also Measure 49 will go towards protecting scenic destination areas - which have recently been threatened by M37.
