Hillary Clinton has been on the airwaves talking about her husband?s contentious "Fox News Sunday" interview with FNC reporter Chris Wallace. Wallace asked President Clinton, "I understand that hindsight is always 20/20, but the question is, why didn't you connect the dots and put him [Osama bin Laden] out of business?" Bill Clinton, in a finger-wagging answer said, "You did Fox's bidding on this show. You did your nice little conservative hit job on me." Whether Wallace's question was fair, and whether Clinton?s answer was an overreaction, is up to you. What does all this have to do with Senator Hillary Clinton? Nothing. That's why she gets the mallet in this week's edition of "Thursday Bites." It was Bill that was on the Fox News set with Chris Wallace. It was Bill that was President during and after the first World Trade Center attack in 1993. The cameras and microphones pulled out after the Wallace interview should have been in front of Bill Clinton, not Hillary Clinton. Hillary, as one would expect, used the media opportunity to gransdstand and fire shots at the Bush administration. The media said here Hillary, go to it. For this, the media deserves and gets the mallet too. A Bill Clinton story is not always a Hillary Clinton story, and this one wasn't.
