This is a video with images of my two dogs; Tess (larger dog with white) and Roxie (smaller dog with brown). Both are dachshund breed, although Tess is obviously more of a mix. Tess was adopted from an abusive home through Dachshund Rescue of North America, Inc. Although we gave her subsequent years of loving care, she always had a somewhat "nervous" demeanor, undoubtedly from her prior abuse. Roxie always "looked up to" Tess, an ever present sidekick. Tess recently died of a medical condition. Tess was the kind of dog that chose to nuzzle in your lap, even if other dogs were eating meat on the nearby ground. Tess loved to wander and explore the woods. Tess was my friend. This video is in her memory.
