This is the PR opportunity China has been waiting for. Despite protests abroad, Chinese people are going to great lengths to promote their Olympic enthusiasm. In the film Fuwa five young Beijingers become fascinated with the Olympic mascots and begin their own adventures. Star of the film, Yan Xikai is thrilled to be a part of the excitement. SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) Yan Xikai, actor, saying: "I am really happy that I have finally done something for the Olympics. I want to do even more for the Olympics." Artist Zhao Bandi has caught the fever and so have his creations - his modified mascots. SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) Zhao Bandi, artist, saying: "I think that my own mascots, in my opinion, are much more attractive than the Olympic mascots, dont you think? This is my own warmth; this is Zhao Bandis attitude." He plans to distribute hundreds of thousands of his cuddly pandas, his own contribution to Chinas Olympic spirit.
