Lebanon intensifies shelling

The Lebanese Army has continued shelling militant targets, as Palestinian refugees plead for the fighting to stop. The Palestinian refugee camp of Nahr al-Bared has been covered in thick smoke, as the Lebanese army stepped up its attacks on militants of the Fatah al-Islam group. Nearby, at the Bedawi camp, residents have taken to the streets to protest. The Lebanese army has been battling militants of Fatah al-Islam group inside Nahr al-Bared camp since early Sunday.
