Frank Gong, head of China equity research at JPMorgan Securities Asia, talks with Bloomberg's Nina de Roy from Hong Kong about earnings released today by Industrial & Commercial Bank of China Ltd., Bank of China Ltd. and the outlook for banks, interest rates and inflation expectations in China. ICBC, the world's biggest bank by market value, boosted second-half profit by 70 percent, while earnings growth at Bank of China slowed on $1.3 billion of subprime writedowns.
