Premiere Speakers Bureau: Exclusively Representing the World's Most Compelling Speakers Jeff Kemp, 11 Year NFL Quarterback for Rams, 49ers, Seahawks and the Eagles For eleven seasons, Jeff Kemp was a National Football League quarterback with the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers, the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. He delivered his best performances in 1984 when he quarterbacked the Rams and led them to the playoffs and in 1986, where he threw eleven touchdowns for the 49ers in six games. Jeff started out as a free agent and persevered to an 11 year career. Jeff learned, applied and now passes on many dynamic lessons from the world of athletics and pro football - lessons about persistence, vision, team communication, relationship-based leadership and success. Jeff and his father, Jack Kemp, are one of the only three sets of fathers and sons who have played quarterback in the NFL. His father Jack is a former U.S. Congressman, Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and ran for Vice President in 1996. After quarterbacking in the NFL, Jeff, with a bachelor's degree in economics from Dartmouth College, as well as an MBA with honors from Pepperdine University School of Business, moved on to his current post as the executive director of the Families Northwest. Families Northwest is a leading non-profit organization in the emerging national marriage and healthy family movement. They unite communities in strategies to prevent family breakdown and strengthen cultural and individual support for marriage. In his position, Jeff networks with leaders from all segments of society- business, community, government, religious and media - casting a vision for a marriage movement and improved family life. Jeff serves on the Executive Committee of Pro Athletes Outreach which trains professional athletes to be responsible leaders and role models. He is also a member of the Advisory Board for the National Fatherhood Initiative. Jeff has published articles in The Seattle Times, USA Today magazine, American Enterprise magazine as well as several other publications. The Kemp's make their home in Redmond, Washington. Jeff and his wife Stacy work closely with newly married couples and cherish their family time together. They are the parents of Kyle, Kory, Kolby and Keegan.
