Martin Johnson has been appointed the new manager of the national team. Johnson led England to victory in the 2003 World Cup, and is regarded as one of the best rugby players the country has produced. The terms of his appointment mean the current coach Brian Ashton has no place in the new structure - his future is unclear. But will Johnson's success on the field be enough to succeed off it and lead England back to the top?
