Not one but two presidential candidates will be keynote speakers at the North Dakota Democratic Convention this Friday... Not to be outdone in the state Hillary Clinton is planning a visit. Barack Obama first accepted an invitation to be the keynote speaker for the North Dakota Democratic Convention which starts on Friday in Grand Forks. Now, Clinton will also speak Friday night. Obama is scheduled to speak at 5:30, with Clinton taking the stage at 8 p.m. Democratic - NPL Party Executive Director, Jamie Selzler says the Presidential candidates are fighting for every last vote which may be why Hillary Clinton is also coming... (Jamie Selzler, Dem-NPL Executive Director) I suspect it's because She does have a lot of support in North Dakota - she didn't win our caucuses but she has a strong base of supporters here. In addition there's still delegates that need to be determined at the state convention. I think she's coming to solidify her base of supporters and expand out to new supporters.
