This week, fmr. Gov. Mike Huckabee (R-AR) discusses his career, his potential presidential bid and his new book, "From Hope to Higher Ground: 12 Steps to Restoring America's Greatness." He took office in July 1996, succeeding Gov. Jim Guy Tucker (D-AR), who left office after being convicted of crimes related to the Whitewater investigation. Gov. Huckabee served in that office until Jan. 9, 2007, when Gov. Mike Beebe (D-AR) was sworn into office.
