At least 202 people were killed in a series of bombings in Baghdad's district of Sadr City on Thursday, the deadliest attack in a single area since the Iraq invasion. The bombings followed the release of a UN report Wednesday that Iraq's civilian death toll reached a new monthly high of more than 3,700 in October. The following is a list of the deadliest attacks in Iraq since America occupied the country. 2006 November 23: At least 202 people are killed and 250 wounded in a string of car bombings in the Sadr City.
