1- Dennis sees a "wanted" poster in the post office that looks like Mr. Wilson and then misinterprets Mr. Wilson's warning to stay out of the garden. Dennis' efforts to disguise and hide Mr. Wilson end up with him looking just like the criminal and gets poor Mr. Wilson arrested. 2- After spending the day riding a riverboat on the local river, the Mitchell's return home only to discover that Ruff has disappeared. That night, Dennis is so worried that he radios Jay and the two of them go looking for Ruff in the bayou country. There they encounter coyotes, hoboes, and a riverboat captain who has found Ruff. With the help of some nearby gypsies, the boys are able to rescue Ruff. 3- Dennis and Joey go on a ride, along with officer Mike, through their neighborhood. Dennis is always "seeing" what he thinks are crimes in the progress. When officer Mike tries to help out he always gets into trouble, i.e., when Dennis sees a robber running out of the bank and it turns out to be the bank manager! Eventually, Dennis' suspicions turn out correct and he, Joey and officer Mike are decorated by the mayor after stopping a counterfeiting ring.
