May 12th, 2008: Toronto Blue Jays 3 at Cleveland Indians 0 F -- The Blue Jays will actually be able to smile some when they board their flight to Minnesota on Monday night. Granted, Toronto's trip to Cleveland could've gone much better, but at least the club avoided a complete disaster. In the nightcap of a traditional doubleheader, the Jays found a way to overcome a wave of crushing blows to steal a 3-0 victory in 10 innings at Progressive Field. Yet another dominant outing by Shaun Marcum and some rare clutch hits for Toronto did the trick. "It's always nice to get away with a win," Jays second baseman Aaron Hill said. "It brings higher spirits in the next one. It's a much more fun plane ride when you get a win. It makes it pretty long if we would've lost that game. It's definitely a big win." The victory sealed a split of the double feature with the Indians, snapping a four-game losing streak for the Jays (18-22). Toronto was able to pull out the win, despite watching Cleveland turn the 14th unassisted triple play in baseball history and being handcuffed by left-hander Cliff Lee.
