우리 한의 일어남은 가장 오래되었다 THE HISTORY OF THE HAN, KOREAN HISTORY Korean always call themselves Hangere(Hanminjok), not the english word Korean, and the word Korea was derived from the name of a country that was founded by the Han. Han means Korean, gere means tribe/race in the native Korean language. Therefore, Hangere means Korean people. Daehanminguk(Hanguk) is the official name of the Republic of Korea. It means The Great Han People's Nation. VIDEO DESCRIPTION Panaru Hanin (00:30~00:37) His name is Abaji. It's also called Abai in northern Korea. Today, Abaji(Abai) means father in the native Korean language. The founder of the Kitan Empire(916~1125 AD) also called himself Abaji(Abogi). All these words were derived from Abaji Hanin. Kori-Mongol War (02:20~02:34) The Mongols invaded Korea in 1231 and fought with Korean for 30 years, but they couldn't conquer Korea in the end. When the Mongols reigned over Eurasia, some dynasties fought against the Mongols, but only Korean Kori dynasty survived. The Mongols were so weak in naval battle, Korean knew their weak point and coped with the situation well. Therefore, Korean defended their dynasty. All countries(and their people) invaded by the Mongols were totally killed and destroyed, many Korean were also sacrificed like them, but many Mongolian who invaded Korea were also killed by Korean like the acting emperor Sartai(Salietai) was killed by Korean monk Choi Yunhu. Kori made peace with Mongol, and the prince married Khubilai Han's daughter. Admiral Yi used superior Artillery technology and leadership to win all 23 of his naval engagements without ever losing a single ship while sinking hundreds of Japanese ships. Thank you, EasternKnight!! Jusin conquered China (03:36~03:10) Nurhachi founded the 2nd Kim dynasty(1616 AD), it was renamed Chung dynasty(1636 AD), Jusin called themselves Manju(Manchus). After the conquering of China(1644 AD), China became one part of Manjurian Empire for hundreds of years. According to the history book written by the Manjurian, Korean and Manjurian share the same history. HISTORY AND USEFUL INFORMATION: HAN DYNASTY AND HAN CHINESE The word Han dynasty was named by the conqueror, not Chinese. According to the history book, Han dynasty was originally a vassal of the West Cho(西楚) empire which was founded by Hang Woo(項羽) the Namman(southern strangers). When Hang Woo finished conquering of China, Han dynasty was named by the emperor and King Lyu Bang was crownd by the emepror. The word Han Chinese was derived from Han dynasty. Therefore, the word Han Chinese began to appear in China around 200 BC. It's not an ethnic group. It means Chinese are not Han. The word Han Chinese was created by the conqueror in 206 BC. There is no comparison between Han and Han Chinese. ADDITIONAL HISTORY: THE CHINESE WAR OF INDEPENDENCE (1) Chinese declared independence from the Manjurian Empire in 1912, but they were subdued by the military clique of empire. (2) Republic of China was founded by the Nationalist Party of China in 1925, and finally occupied Peking(Beijing) in 1928. (3) PR_China was founded by the Chinese Communists in 1950.
