Grammy-award winning producer Mark Ronson and British eighties pop rockers Duran Duran to join musical forces for one-off show. Uber producer Mark Ronson will team up with British pop rock legends Duran Duran to create for a special concert in Paris. The announcement was made in Moscow at one of four gigs around the world by the Smirnoff Experience. Other cities include Shanghai, Paris and New York City. After a storming year which included picking up awards at both the Grammys and Brit awards, British-born, U.S. raised Ronson said he was looking forward to putting his magical touch to work with one of the biggest pop bands of the eighties. Together, they will feature re-worked versions of some of their classic hits along with tracks from their latest album "Red Carpet Massacre". Lead singer for Duran Duran Simon Le Bon is also expected to appear as a guest vocalist on Ronson's hit album "Version". The gigs have taken place in four cities around the world including R & B diva Kelis and dance act Faithless in Moscow to dj/producer Tom Middleton and Welsh rockers Hard-Fi. The Paris show will take place on July 2 at La Cigale.
