On October 20, 1977, Lynyrd Skynyrd was heading to Baton Rouge Louisiana from Greenville, South Carolina, when the plane crashed near McComb, Mississippi. Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines, Dean Kilpatrick and the two pilots were killed. I have made this video as a special tribute to those free birds.
