It is the semi-final clash of the Madrid Master's tournament sponsored by Sony Ericsson. This is no ordinary SF at the WTA Championships; the winner will finish as year-end #1. Sharapova comes in with an outstanding 19 match winning streak started unintentionally by Justine at the US OPEN final. She may be having a hard time in this part of the game losing a couple of plays. In the end however, Henin beats Sharapova 6-2 7-5. She was crowned with the title by beating Mauresmo (that defeated Henin at earlier stages of the tournament) the very next day and lifted up the trophy victoriously. I was there with my family in Madrid during the week of tournament, staying at Hotel Palace together with the top ranking stars of women's tennis. I had the chance to get pictures and autographs as I came across them at the lounge, picking up breakfast. Anyway, Kim Clijsters rules! (She is my absolute favorite)
