Rae absolutely LOVES singing this..probably her smooooothest vocal...Rae fell in love with this song when she saw LADY SINGS THE BLUES with Diana Ross/Billy dee Williams - the film about Billie Holliday.. Her aussie mate Megs finally found a really great jazz backing track for her for her birthday (thanks megs!).. and since then it's a regular at the gigs!... this is the first section as it's a 5 minute song and at the end it gets jazzed up but this is the chilled out first part of the song... this was at a private party pre supper sep 07...the lighting is very wierd with shadows on close up.. but it's a gorgeous song..Raes' lways happier moving around when singing than sitting, as you will see!
